About the Role
We are seeking two experienced Call Centre Operators to join our team in Pretoria North, responsible for coordinating logistics operations and providing exceptional customer service. As a key member of our team, you will be required to work rotating shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate truck and trailer breakdowns with service providers.
- Provide regular updates to fleet controllers on repair status.
- Maintain breakdown records and reports.
- Authorise and manage diesel requests at approved stations.
- Capture fuel data (litres, mileage, time, etc.) on the system.
- Capture and update load information (departure, arrival, mass, kilometres).
- Monitor truck routes and address unauthorised deviations.
- Manage driver journey plans, including sleep schedules.
- Report delays, deviations, and issues to fleet controllers.
- Respond to incidents (accidents, hijackings) and initiate recovery procedures.
- Manage pool vehicle bookings, inspections, and reporting.
Requirements
- 23 years of call centre experience in a logistics environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, with Afrikaans being advantageous.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
Qualifications
Matric (essential)
Diploma or similar in Logistics or Transport Management (not essential)
