About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Winder Electrician to join our client’s well-established mine in Gauteng, South Africa. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our winders.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on winders and electrical equipment
- Conduct fault findings and troubleshoot issues with winder systems
- Read and interpret winder drawings to ensure accurate installation and repair work
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve production targets and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements
- Grade 12 / N3 Certificate
- Possession of the relevant/ valid Electrical Trade Test Certificate (Section 13)
- Medium Voltage Certificate
- At least 5 years experience as an Electrician
- At least 3-year experience as a Winder Electrician
- Ability to read and understand winder drawings
