About the Role
A luxury restaurant in Franschhoek is seeking a talented and motivated Breakfast Sous Chef to join its culinary team. This role is ideal for a chef with a passion for fine dining, precision and creativity, who thrives in a high-performance kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in overseeing breakfast service, ensuring consistency and excellence.
- Prepare and present dishes to the highest standards of quality and aesthetics.
- Supervise and support junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and training.
- Maintain kitchen organisation, hygiene and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Contribute to menu development and innovation, particularly within the breakfast offering.
- Ensure smooth operations during service, managing timing and workflow effectively.

- Proven experience in a similar role within a luxury restaurant or hotel environment.
