About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join our team in Rustenburg, focusing on servicing the mining and construction sectors through Diesel Engines/Motor Engineering and Truck Re-build services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering competitor information, reporting findings, and promoting company products to new and existing customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Obtain information on competitor’s products and services, pricing policies, and business strategies
- Report weekly records of client meetings
- Support company products, divisions, and distributors to improve sales in the area
- Represent the company as a local supplier of Diesel/Motor Engineering and Field services
- Actively promote the sale of company services to new and existing customers
- Report leads, tenders, and quoting opportunities to the Branch Manager & Group Operations Manager
- Establish and develop close business relationships with potential clients
Requirements
- Matric with English & Afrikaans
- At least 3 – 5 years Technical Sales in Mining & Construction experience
- Target driven
- Valid driver’s license
Qualifications
- Recognized technical qualification (Diesel/Petrol Field Service) is an advantage
- Technical mining sales background and ease with earthmoving equipment or Mining Machinery is a plus
