About the Role

The Business Development Manager is a key role at PRO Personnel Employment Agency, responsible for driving business growth and establishing new relationships with clients across various regions. The incumbent will be expected to understand client needs, sell appropriate products and services, and maintain strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure brand dominance and increase growth in your respective area
  • Creating development plans and forecasting sales targets and growth projections
  • Identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities and new business
  • Managing client relationships and offering exceptional service
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Operations teams to ensure requirements are met, such as sales numbers and profit goals
  • Develop, execute, and oversee a business strategy that prioritises growth and positive customer ratings
  • Conduct high-level industry research to develop effective sales solutions
  • Manage a pipeline of client engagements in line with the company’s CRM system.

Requirements

  • Matric, coupled with any relevant 3-year qualification in Sales and Marketing
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience with a proven track record
  • Experience within the following industries will be preferable (mining, construction and petrochemical industries)
  • Good knowledge of OHSA and MHSA
  • Ability to meet and exceed set sales targets
  • Computer literacy (MS Office)
  • Good customer service and relationship building
  • Strong Communication and Negotiation skills are mandatory
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
