About the Role
RPO Recruitment’s client, a reputable civil engineering consulting firm in South Africa, is seeking an experienced Bridge Resident Engineer for a major road infrastructure project based in Durban. The appointment is for ±19 months and may be extended. This is an urgent opportunity to be involved in a significant infrastructure development within the province.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise construction of bridge structures and large culverts
- Ensure site compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Coordinate with site teams to ensure effective project delivery
Requirements
- BSc/BEng or BTech/Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Professional registration as Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng (essential)
- Minimum of 15 years relevant experience in construction supervision
- Proven experience in major bridge structures and large culvert construction
