About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative with experience in the hydraulics industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent sales skills, technical knowledge, and a strong ability to build relationships with customers. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for maintaining existing customer bases, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting our brand through exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Maintenance: Ensure regular visits to customers within the call cycle using tools to plan effectively.
- New Business Potential: Investigate new business opportunities at all existing customers.
- Weekly Report Submission: Submit a weekly report detailing customer visits and activities.
- Customer Data Base Management: Maintain accurate records of customer accounts, including position, individuals, and reporting structure.
- Customer Fleet Information Update: Update customer fleet population and status, including Underground Products and Competitor information.
- New Business Development: Source, plan, and obtain new business in the territory linked to parts, equipment, and services.
- Customer Care Demonstration: Commit to addressing customer queries and needs promptly and to their satisfaction.
- Warranty Claims Resolution: Ensure correct warranty procedures are followed and executed timeously.
- Sales Data Analysis: Critically analyse sales data to measure specific performance and identify opportunities.
- Sales Activities: Determine customers’ technical and application needs, suggest solutions, and provide technical support.
- Underground Visits: Perform application analysis and provide technical supports at customer sites.
- Customer Communication: Conduct verbal and written communication with high standards, including formal presentations.
Requirements
- Matric/Grade 12
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in a related field
- Minimum of 5 years technical experience with related product
- Driver’s license
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS office and B.C./SAP
