About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Development Administrator to join our team in Somerset West. As the glue that holds the development process together, you will support the development team by coordinating planning sessions, tracking tasks, removing admin friction, and ensuring communication is clear and consistent.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Maintain up-to-date sprint boards, backlogs, and task statuses
- Track deliverables, deadlines, and dependencies to ensure nothing falls through the cracks
- Take clear notes during meetings and distribute action items and decisions
- Follow up with team members to ensure agreed actions are completed
- Coordinate communication between developers, product, support, and management
- Maintain development documentation, release notes, and internal records
- Support the team with general administrative tasks related to development workflows
- Identify process bottlenecks and suggest practical improvements
Requirements
- Grade 12
- A formal qualification (advantageous)
- Experience in an administrative, coordination, project support, or development-related role
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort working with task management tools (e.g. Azure Boards, or similar)
- Ability to work with technical teams without needing to be technical yourself
- Attention to detail and a structured, methodical approach to work
- Calm, supportive manner and confidence to follow up and keep people accountable

- Formal education/certifications (if applicable)
