About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our financial services client in Belville, supporting two or more Agile teams and working closely with Product Owners, Developers, Testers, Business Stakeholders, and fellow Scrum Masters to ensure alignment, remove impediments, and foster a culture of trust, accountability, and continuous learning. This is an exciting opportunity for a servant leader who is passionate about enabling teams, improving delivery flow, and driving Agile maturity across multiple cross-functional teams within a larger product ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach and enable cross-functional teams to become empowered, self-managing units
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews, and flow-based cadences
- Partner with Product Owners to maintain healthy, outcome-focused backlogs
- Identify and remove blockers, risks, and delivery impediments
- Improve team flow, throughput, and predictability through Agile metrics and continuous improvement practices
- Support cross-team coordination, dependency management, and alignment across the Agile Release Train
- Participate in PI Planning, ART Syncs, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops
- Provide visibility into team progress, risks, dependencies, and delivery outcomes to the RTE
- Promote transparency, inspection, adaptation, and sustainable delivery practices
- Contribute to the wider Agile Community of Practice and organisational Agile maturity
Requirements
Relevant IT Degree or Diploma
Agile certifications such as CSM, PSM I/II, SSM, SASM, SA, ICP
4 years’ experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or delivery leader
Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and scaled Agile frameworks
