About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking an experienced Industrial Relations and Human Resources professional to join their team in Cape Town, Western Cape. This role is ideal for a dynamic HR practitioner with solid experience in employee relations, labour legislation, and general HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations, disciplinary procedures, and grievance handling.
- Represent the organization in CCMA and other labour-related disputes.
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
- Drive recruitment processes including advertising, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Support line managers in performance management and employee development initiatives.
- Maintain accurate employee records and compile HR reports as needed.
- Stay updated with current labour legislation and ensure company compliance.
- Coordinate training and development plans in line with company goals.
- Advise management on strategic HR planning and workforce optimization.
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent.
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management, Labour Relations, or a related field.
- 35 years experience in a generalist HR role with a strong focus on industrial relations.
- Solid knowledge of South African labour laws and HR practices.
- Proven experience representing an employer at the CCMA is essential.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
