About the Role
Our client is looking for a qualified and experienced Assistant Audit Manager to support the management of audit operations, assist with overseeing audit engagements, and ensure the quality control of financial statements and books. This role plays a key part in supporting the audit team, maintaining compliance with auditing standards, and delivering high-quality financial reporting to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing audit engagements and supporting the management of the audit training office.
- Work with large clients and groups while ensuring excellent service delivery and client support.
- Assist with implementing and monitoring the application of IFRS for SMEs.
- Utilize CaseWare, Probe, and RaidSoft software during audit engagements.
- Assist with asset transactions, restructuring activities, and maintaining quality control of financial statements and accounting records.
- Support audit processes and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and auditing standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to members of the audit team when required.
- Conduct audits, reviews, and compilations with strong technical accuracy and professionalism.
Requirements
- Qualified CA(SA) or AGSA or at least passed CTA
- Relevant auditing experience within an audit firm environment
- Strong technical capabilities and experience with audit software, especially CaseWare, Probe, and RaidSoft
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in EAT and TCMS is advantageous
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to contribute to complex financial audits
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
