About the Role

As a Housekeeping Supervisor at The President Hotel, you will play a critical role in ensuring that every room released to a guest reflects our promise of precision, presentation, and luxury. With its iconic oceanfront setting and reputation as one of Cape Town’s most loved hotels, we are evolving toward elevated luxury and require a structured housekeeping leadership on every shift to maintain quality control, efficiency, and service consistency.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct detailed room inspections to ensure rooms meet hotel quality and brand standards before release.
Ensure all guest rooms, corridors, and public areas maintain cleanliness, presentation, and compliance with hotel SOPs.
Allocate daily room assignments, manage productivity targets, and monitor workflow efficiency.
Provide on-shift leadership and operational guidance.
Support onboarding and training of housekeeping staff.
Monitor linen usage, housekeeping supplies, and stock levels.
Respond professionally to guest requests and room-related concerns.
Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance to resolve issues efficiently.

Requirements

Matric Certificate (Grade 12)
Hospitality qualification (advantageous)
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience within hotel housekeeping
At least 2 years’ supervisory experience within a hotel environment
Experience working within a 4 or 5-star branded hotel environment
