About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Engineering External Recruitment Consultant to join our team in recruiting technical staff for a well-established agency based in Pretoria’s northern suburbs. The successful candidate will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting, working closely with clients to identify, engage, and place engineers, technicians, and artisans.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, screen, interview, coordinate, and close candidates for specific positions.
- Manage multiple open roles while maintaining candidate quality and speed-to-hire.
- Run skill-based interviews: Evaluate technical depth through structured, insight-driven conversations.
- Work closely with clients to ensure job requirements are understood by candidate profiles.
- Maintain candidate experience: Deliver timely, clear communication from first contact to final offer.
Requirements
- Matric plus tertiary qualification
- 2 years of full-cycle recruiting experience OR Sales and Marketing graduates
- Proven track record hiring technical applicants (engineers/technicians and artisans)
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build trust with candidates and clients
