About the Role
The Sales Manager is a critical role that leads and manages all sales activities for our farm, ensuring alignment with market demand and profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction. This position requires a strong leader with extensive experience in sales management and key account management, preferably in agriculture or FMCG.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue and expand market reach.
- Identify new market opportunities and conduct market research on pricing trends and competitor activities.
- Work closely with the production and procurement departments to align crop volumes with sales plans.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, retailers, distributors, and bulk buyers.
- Manage daily sales operations, including orders, pricing, dispatch planning, and delivery follow-ups.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with retailers, vendors, and wholesalers.
- Ensure all products sold comply with food safety, traceability, and customer specifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, Agriculture, or related field.
- Additional certification in sales management or agribusiness is an advantage.
- 35 years experience in sales management or key account management, preferably in agriculture or FMCG.
- Valid drivers license and own transport.
