Job Description

About the Role

The Audit Senior will be responsible for leading audit engagements, supervising junior staff, and ensuring that audits are completed efficiently and in accordance with applicable standards and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, execute, and finalise audit engagements
Manage audit teams and provide on-the-job training to junior staff
Review audit work and ensure compliance with auditing standards
Prepare and review financial statements
Identify risk areas and propose appropriate audit responses
Liaise directly with clients and build strong professional relationships
Ensure deadlines are met and deliverables are of a high standard

Requirements

Completed SAICA articles or relevant audit experience within an audit firm
Strong knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting
Proven ability to lead and manage audit engagements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Qualifications

BCom Accounting or equivalent qualification (if applicable)
