About the Role

E-Merge, a leading financial services corporation based in Johannesburg, seeks an extraordinary Cloud Expert to lead their team in creating next-generation solutions for their thriving domain. The successful candidate will be responsible for launching the company into the future of banking and joining a team driven by passion and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading a skilled team of professionals in the creation of next generation solutions
  • Launching the company into the future of banking

Requirements

  • At least 8 years’ experience as a Cloud specialist
  • Investment Banking experience essential (trading/forex platform experience an advantage)
  • 4 years’ experience in a senior management role running a portfolio of 10+ technical experts
  • At least 10 years’ full lifecycle design and development covering solution design, application design, development, testing and maintenance, network software, operating systems, multi-tier environments, desktop and workgroup software, middleware, server technology, fault tolerant environments, development tools
  • Experience across all application development methodologies, database methodologies and concepts including knowledge of IT infrastructure and Operations

Qualifications

  • Post Graduate Bachelor’s Degree – Information Technology
  • Cloud Certified
  • Certified Scaled Agile Frameworks
