About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Store Picker to join our team in Kempton Park. As a Store Picker, you will be responsible for accurately picking orders from storage locations, packing items securely, and ensuring that all products are handled safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick orders from storage locations using pick lists or handheld devices.
- Check picked items for accuracy, quality, and correct quantities.
- Pack items securely to prevent damage during transport or storage.
- Label items and pallets correctly.
- Assist with loading and unloading vehicles (manual lifting or pallet truck use).
- Move goods to the correct storage or dispatch areas.
- Handle products safely to avoid damage.
- Wrap pallets and goods using manual or automated wrapping equipment.
- Prepare orders for dispatch by securing loads correctly.
- Maintain clean and organised work areas.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse or picking experience (preferred but not essential).
- Experience with wrapping, packing, or manual handling (advantage).
- Ability to lift, move, and carry items.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks.
