Job Description
This role is based in Ormonde, Johannesburg South.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the collection and administration of strategic and developing dealer debtor accounts
- Maintain strict control over allocations and clearing of customer payments
- Ensure the timely distribution of statements and invoices
- Manage the sales order release process and facilitate effective internal communication
- Resolve customer queries efficiently while delivering high levels of customer service
- Proactively identify potential risks or issues before they arise
- Report regularly to management on the status of the debtor book
- Conduct credit reviews and risk assessments on key customer accounts
- Maintain customer master data and manage credit limits
- Provide support during SAP S/4 migration activities
- Assist with banking and treasury-related functions
- Support internal and external audit processes related to debtor accounts
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial legislation and company policies
- Perform periodic and ad hoc finance reporting and duties
- Provide support to the National Debtors & Treasury Supervisor
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Completed Matric
- Credit Management and Basic Bookkeeping qualifications will be advantageous
- 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
- SAP system experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 proficiency
