Job Description
– Assist the Site Supervisor / Project Manager with daily site operations
– Supervise subcontractors and installation teams on-site
– Ensure work is carried out according to drawings and specifications
– Monitor daily progress and report on site activities
Quality Control
– Check installation quality of aluminium frames, glass panels, and façade systems
– Ensure correct materials and components are used
– Report defects or snags and ensure they are resolved
Health & Safety
– Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHS Act)
– Enforce use of PPE and safe work practices
– Identify and report hazards on-site
– Assist with toolbox talks and safety briefings
Planning & Logistics
– Assist with planning daily tasks and labour allocation
– Coordinate material deliveries and ensure correct quantities on-site
– Monitor stock usage and report shortages
Documentation & Reporting
– Keep daily site reports and progress updates
– Record attendance of workers and subcontractors
– Assist with maintaining site documentation and safety files
Client & Team Communication
– Liaise with site management, contractors, and internal teams
– Escalate issues or delays to senior supervisors
– Maintain professional communication on-site
