Job Description
The successful candidate will play a key role in advising on both strategic and tactical business transformation, with a strong focus on optimizing financial performance, improving planning capabilities, and driving sustainable business change.
This role requires a seasoned finance professional with a Chartered Accountant background, strong SAP experience, and the ability to partner with stakeholders to identify performance gaps, recommend improvements, and implement finance transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
The Business Transformation Consultant Finance will be responsible for:
Strategic & Financial Transformation
Advising stakeholders on strategic and tactical business transformation initiatives with a finance-led focus.
Assessing current financial and operational performance and identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Supporting the refinement of existing business strategies or the development of new transformation strategies aligned to market and competitive demands.
Providing insights and recommendations to support sustainable financial and operational improvements.
Financial Planning & Forecasting
Leading and supporting various planning and forecasting processes, including:
- Strategic planning
- P&L planning
- Balance sheet planning
- Cash flow forecasting
- Long-range forecasting
- Rolling forecasts
- Financial modelling
- Capital planning
- HR planning
- Project planning
- Production and capacity planning
- Sales and operational planning
- Performance Improvement & Change Implementation
- Identifying performance gaps across finance and business processes.
- Developing and delivering transformation recommendations to address operational and financial inefficiencies.
- Supporting the implementation of process improvements, transformation initiatives, and change interventions.
- Ensuring finance transformation initiatives align with overall business strategy and operational goals.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Engaging with business leaders, finance teams, and project stakeholders to understand business requirements and transformation priorities.
- Presenting recommendations, findings, and strategic insights clearly and professionally.
- Collaborating across functions to support successful project execution and adoption of new processes.
- Systems & Process Optimization
- Leveraging SAP and other finance-related systems to support planning, reporting, and transformation activities.
- Contributing to the enhancement of financial systems, reporting structures, and planning methodologies.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
- Essential
- Chartered Accountant (CA) background
- Strong Finance transformation / consulting experience
- Solid SAP experience
- 8 to 10 years relevant experience in finance, business transformation, strategic planning, or consulting
- Strong understanding of:
