Job Summary

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria: Grade 12 with related tertiary qualification preferred AutoCAD program qualifications with at least 3 years related experience in the construction industry Fast learner with good communication skills High level of numeracy and literacy and excellent interpersonal skills Valid drivers and own reliable transport Clear criminal record, sober habits and contactable prior work references Based in the Durbanville area Working hours : Monday Thursday 7am 5.30pm, Friday 7am 3pm Willing to take annual leave during December construction shutdown period The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to: Timeously design accurate, efficient and cost-saving panel layouts and designs from architect plans received by clients Compile accurate quotation calculations Ensure all necessary supports, crane and transport details are accurately included in estimated drawings and calculations Ensure all work is saved in the correct formats and folders Assist with bending schedules, crane size determination and all other estimation and design needs Assist with any draughting needs instructed by management Assist staff in the effective flow of the quotation process Liaise with clients when needed
