Job Summary
Duties:
Traditional Marketing
- Assist with design and developing artworks such as posters, advertisements, leaflets, catalogues for products, dealers, promotions, shows and events
- Attend and represent brand at relevant events when required
- Assist with practical arrangements of boat show exhibitions, product launches and dealer conferences
- Maintain the marketing calendar
- Maintain and monitor marketing expenses in the budget control sheet
- Process sales orders, invoices, ringi’s and do general administration for marketing activities
- Assist with promoting Clean Ocean Project activities
- Monitor advertising exposure and liaise with influencers and brand ambassadors
- Capture and report on industry marketing and lead generation activities and trends
- Marketing activity reporting
- Monitor competitor marketing activities
- Support with marketing projects, reporting and administration in the Department
- Act as an ambassador at all times for marketing, promotion and dealer activities and events
Digital Marketing
- Manage social media marketing with agency on all the different channels (content ideas, approval, targeting, management, invoicing, etc)
- Keep the website up to date with regards to content, text, pictures, videos, pricing, etc
- Website analytics and Digital Marketing report
- Monitor digital adds performance and optimization
- Blog article content and approval
- Direct Marketing initiatives
- Search Engine Optimization
Dealer Marketing
- Serve as a point of contact for the dealer network for all marketing-related queries
- Ensure compliant Corporate Identity interior branding at dealerships
- Assist with compliant Corporate Identity dealer signage projects
- Assist with organizing local dealer events and fishing competitions
- Digital audit tracking of each dealers’ online presence and monitor improvements
- Marketing calendar and expense forecast per dealer
- Dealer marketing refund claim approvals according to marketing plan priorities and compliance
- Complete marketing scoring for dealers and monitor progress
- Promote merchandise sales with dealer network
- Assist with ad hoc projects
Merchandise
- Generate ideas and develop dealership point of sale materials
- Management of Point of Sales material stock
- Organize delivery and return of material and place orders for new material
- Assist with merchandise parts stock management, re-order, and development of new materials
- Update the Merchandise dealer and retail brochure
- Update the merchandise pricing on the website
Minimum Requirements
- Relevant Digital, Marketing qualification
- A minimum of 2 years Digital / Marketing experience in same or similar role (Marine/Automotive industry experience ESSENTIAL)
- High level of computer literacy is essential
- Artwork design skills (Advanced Users Photoshop Elements, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Website management skills
- Excellent understanding of digital marketing platforms
- Effective communication skills
- Strong communication (writing & verbal) and dealer relationship skills are essential
- Driver’s licence
- Required to travel from time to time
- Willingness to work on weekends when required
- Potential candidates may be required to undergo psychometric testing.
- Motor/Marine Industry experience ESSENTIAL!!
