Job Summary
Duties:
Install, maintain and repair electrical wiring systems and related equipment and fixtures. Install, test, connect, commission, maintain and modify electrical equipment, wiring and control systems. o Testing continuity of circuit(s) o Positioning and installing electrical switchboards o Planning layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and relevant standards o Inspecting electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair o Selecting, cutting and connecting wire and cable to terminals and connectors o Measuring and laying out installation reference points o Examining blueprints, wiring diagrams and specifications to determine sequences and methods of operation o Installing, maintaining and repairing electrical wiring systems and related equipment in plant and offices at all sites o General housekeeping of all designated areas o Adherence to all legislated rules and regulations, as well as company and operational policies and procedures applicable to the position
Requirements:
Trade Test Qualified Electrician Minimum 5 Years experience in similar position Medical clearance relevant to job. Own vehicle and valid drivers license Remuneration: R100/hour
