Job Summary

Hire Resolve`s client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Front Office Manager to lead their Front Office team at our hospitality establishment in the Western Cape. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the hospitality industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all front desk operations, including check-in/check-out procedures, guest inquiries, reservations, and room assignments
  • Train, motivate, and evaluate Front Office staff to ensure optimal performance
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Monitor and maintain front desk inventory, including key cards, stationery, and supplies
  • Collaborate with other departments, including housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Prepare and analyze daily reports on occupancy rates, revenue, and guest satisfaction metrics
  • Participate in regular staff meetings and provide input on improving overall guest experience
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve front office operations

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Front Office Manager role in the hospitality industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership abilities and a proven track record of motivating and developing a team
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and events in the Western Cape area
  • A degree or diploma in hospitality management or related field is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
