Job Summary
About the Role: Cape Town City Building Contractor is seeking a skilled and motivated Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their team for building contracts across the city. In this dynamic role, youll play a key part in ensuring project cost control, financial accuracy, and contract compliance on various city development projects. Key
Responsibilities:
Conduct cost analysis, budgeting, and financial management of building contracts. Prepare and monitor project cost reports, including valuations and progress claims. Oversee procurement, tendering, and contract management. Collaborate with project teams, architects, and contractors to deliver within budget and timelines. Assist in the resolution of disputes and contract variations.
Requirements:
Bachelor`s degree in Quantity Surveying or related field. 3-5 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably on building projects. Strong knowledge of construction contracts, South African building regulations, and industry standards. Proficiency in cost estimating software and MS Office and CCS Excellent communication and analytical skills. What our Clients Offer: Competitive salary package.
