Job Summary
Requirements:
- Nebosh / SAMTRAC / Diploma / Bachelor`s Degree in relevant field.
- 7+ years` experience in Construction / Engineering industry.
- Experience with projects in Africa and willingness to travel.
- HIRA experience.
- Good understanding of incident investigation.
- Electrical experience preferred.
- SACPCMP registered will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Developing and implementing project-specific HSE control measures.
- Conducting regular inspections and audits to monitor project and retail services performance.
- Co-ordinate sub-contractors Safety personnel on project sites.
- Compiling and implementing site specific HSE files for projects and maintain files.
- Ensuring that all tender and proposal documents comply with relevant HSE regulations and standards the project lifecycle.
- Implement and maintain HSE system to ISO standards.
- Providing safety training to workshop and office staff.
- Monitoring and maintaining safety equipment and ensuring that it is in good working condition.
