Responsibilities:
- Manage the Budget of the Laboratory and measurement areas of responsibility
- Ensuring the required resources and competencies are in place
- Responsible for the review and communication of Measurement and Test results
- Manage engineering change and product evolution
- Manage and maintain critical equipment in the CMM room
- Develop and implement metrology strategies to support production and quality assurance.
- Manage the calibration and maintenance of measurement instruments and systems.
- Lead and mentor a team of metrology technicians, providing training and support.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for all metrology activities.
Job
Requirements:
- Tertiary Engineering/Trade Qualification
- Minimum 3 years experience in internal quality auditing within the automotive
- environment
- Minimum 3 years experience in a quality department in the automotive industry
- Minimum 3 years within a process engineering discipline
- Fully trained experienced CMM Programmer
- Fully trained and experienced in Offline CMM Programming to alignment requirements
- Fully understanding of Technical Drawings and GD&T
- Piweb, GOM and Zeiss experience
- Financial/Budget Concepts
