Job Summary
Technical Assistant/Junior Engineer
Are you a proactive technical assistant or junior engineer looking to support engineering processes and drive efficiency? We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team, providing essential technical and administrative assistance to our General Manager. This role is ideal for a technically adept individual passionate about process improvement and project coordination within a collaborative engineering environment.
Key
Responsibilities:

Technical Support
- Assist engineers and maintenance teams with process research, design, and development.
- Conduct basic analysis, identify process trends, and solve technical issues.
- Contribute to product and system advancement through testing and experimentation.

Process Improvement
- Identify areas for operational improvements and support implementation.
- Maintain accurate records of changes and results in engineering processes.

Administrative Support
- Manage scheduling, communications, and document preparation for the GM.
- Organize and maintain technical records, including blueprints and project files.

Project Coordination
- Track project timelines, coordinate resources, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

Inventory & Resource Management
- Monitor technical inventory and manage purchasing needs.

Health, Safety, & Quality Compliance
- Uphold health, safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
- Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience.
- Skills: Strong technical knowledge, problem-solving, project management, fault-finding, and excellent communication.
Competencies:
- Sound understanding of technical drawings and fault-finding.
- Proficiency in relevant software and systems.
- High attention to detail and emotional intelligence.
