Job Summary
Hire Resolve`s client, a leading renewable energy company in Cape Town, is currently in search of a Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute utility-scale photovoltaic (PV) projects.
- Ensure compliance with technical and contractual requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct analysis and simulations of multi-technology systems to optimize energy production.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and coordinate project activities.
- Demonstrate clear communication and active listening skills.
- Exhibit determination, proactivity, and the ability to prioritize tasks independently.
- Show entrepreneurial spirit and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
- Embrace teamwork, share responsibilities, and maintain a positive attitude.
Requirements:
- BSc/BEng in Electrical, Electro-Mechanical, or Electronic Engineering is preferred; BTech is acceptable if supported by strong experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of overall engineering experience, with at least 2 years in the renewable energy sector.
- 7+ years of engineering experience, including:
- 5+ years in renewable energy.
- 3+ years in a project environment.
- 3+ years in distribution and reticulation design.
- Proficiency in PVSyst modeling and AutoCAD LT.
- Experience with high voltage networks and substations.
