About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Lead Electrical/Mechatronic Engineer to join our Centurion SA division as part of our Product Development team. As a key member of our design hub, you will be responsible for developing and designing commercial products and sub-systems from first principles, with a focus on improving existing products. You will also provide end-to-end engineering services for commercial vehicle engineering and development to service support. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a strong technical background, and the ability to deliver high-quality engineering outputs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and guide design engineers on technical-related issues.
  • Engineering Project Management.
  • Electrical Wiring Design (2D, 3D, Schematics) and Integration of Control Modules.
  • Design reviews and integration CAD design.
  • Product Data Management (3D modelling and creation of 2D drawings).
  • Provide product support and execute projects.

Requirements

  • B.Eng or BSc or BTech degree in either Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in design, preferably wiring design and controller integration in the automotive electrical design environment.
