Job Summary
Minimum requirements for the role: A minimum matric is essential. A qualification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred. Previous experience having worked within a Receiving Clerk or Logistics Coordinator in a manufacturing environment is essential. Proficiency in Syspro and Microsoft Excel is preferred. The successful candidate must have strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Must have excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Must have problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Must be a team player with a proactive attitude. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Managing incoming stock as well as ensure that deliveries are accurate and undamaged. Updating inventory records as well as ensuring that raw materials are readily available to use in the manufacturing process to guarantee that customer`s expectations are met. Inspecting goods for damage, defects, or discrepancies during receiving. Accurately processing Goods Received Notes (GRN) on Syspro. Matching GRNs with purchase orders and supplier documentation for validation. Ensuring timely and accurate capturing of received stock into the system. Safeguarding and organising all receiving documentation, including GRNs, delivery notes, and invoices. Collaborating with inventory teams to update stock levels accurately in the system. Participating in periodic stock counts and audits as required. Effectively using Syspro to track inventory movements and transactions. Utilising Microsoft Excel to compile reports, tracking inbound shipment metrics, and maintaining data integrity. Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
