Job Summary
Requirements:
Qualification in a purchasing discipline (preferred). Minimum of 3 years experience in purchasing, expediting, transport, and logistics in the mining, minerals, engineering, or construction industries. Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, cost control, and logistics within project environments. Strong knowledge of international and local purchasing, tendering, contract laws, and freight regulations. Proficiency in computerised purchasing and logistics systems and Microsoft Office. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong negotiating skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage time effectively, multitask, and work with minimal supervision while delivering high-quality results. South African Citizen or Permanent Resident, based in Cape Town.
