Requirements:
Registered Independent Medical Practitioner with the HPCSA. MBChB or equivalent medical degree. Certification in ACLS, PALS, ATLS, and Level 1 ultrasound. Completion of an MMed in Emergency Medicine or Dip PEC(SA) is highly desirable. Registration as an Emergency Medicine Specialist with an FCEM (SA) or equivalent is an advantage. At least 3 years of experience in Emergency Medicine. A minimum of 1-2 years of leadership experience. Extensive experience in emergency units is essential.
