Job Summary
Key
Responsibilities:
- Lead asset care initiatives within the Engineering and Maintenance domain, applying best practices and ensuring a strong technical foundation in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or Chemical areas.
- Coach, influence, and motivate teams to achieve high performance in maintenance and reliability.
- Manage projects and implement Focused Improvement Projects (FIP) and Process Improvement Projects (PIP).
- Drive asset care and autonomous maintenance using Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles.
- Apply reliability engineering techniques, including Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), FMECA, RCM, and predictive maintenance.
- Oversee maintenance planning, scheduling, performance tracking, and system/tool management (CMMS, calibration, and validation).
- Manage maintenance costs, competencies, service outsourcing, and inventory processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and change management strategies.
- Independently analyze, structure, and synthesize findings with minimal supervision.
Qualifications and Experience:
- BTech/BSc/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Deep understanding of engineering and asset care within an FMCG production environment.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in FMCG production is advantageous.
- Proven project management, process, and people management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative abilities.
- Strategic thinker with excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Innovative, self-driven, and goal-oriented with attention to detail.
- Experience in continuous improvement (OPEX) and numerical aptitude.
- Sound understanding of business communication and service orientation.
