Job Summary

Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain data transmission services. Manage server FTP data folders. Perform data capturing, analysis, and pricing setups. Compile ad hoc reports and invoice breakdowns. Perform reconciliations. Work with IT managers and stakeholders to gather system requirements. Conduct business analytics and translate needs into SQL-based solutions. Configure and test systems before deployment. Deploy software systems to servers and sites. Manage server certificates, ensure HTTPS compliance, and automate data tasks. Enhance reports, integrate external systems, and migrate legacy software. Address system failures and customer queries. Provide after-hours support for system-related issues. Oversee server failure restoration. Compile and update system manuals. Preferred Skills and Experience: Qualification: National Diploma in IT or equivalent NQF 5/6 PHP Development (2 years) JavaScript (2 years) Database Management (MySQL or equivalent, 2 years) Cloud and Linux/Windows deployment experience API consumption and development DB failovers in web design, XML, networking basics Touch typing, quality code production, and strong documentation Preferred Attributes: Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills Commitment to system stability and quality Strong ethics and professional demeanor Excellent communication skills (English, Afrikaans, and a third language advantageous) Enthusiastic about technology and continuous learning Detail-oriented team player Own reliable transport and availability for after-hours support
