Job Summary
Key
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate trial balances.
- Process journal entries and general ledger transactions, including reconciliations.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations.
- Manage and maintain the fixed asset register.
- Prepare and load payments for release.
- Assist with the annual budget preparation.
- Support audit document preparation.
- Assist in preparing management accounts, including detailed analysis of results against budgets and forecasts.
- Provide assistance to the Director with ad-hoc requests, projects, and responsibilities.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with Sage Accounting software.
- Highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Hardworking, reliable, and willing to go the extra mile.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Reliable transport is essential.
