Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled SAP Hybris Tester to join our team in Johannesburg for a 1-year contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in SAP Hybris testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform functional, integration, and regression testing on SAP Hybris eCommerce solutions.
- Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans to ensure software quality.
- Identify, document, and track bugs, defects, and performance issues.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure proper test coverage.
- Work with SAP Hybris (Commerce Cloud, SAP Commerce) to validate features and functionalities.
- Conduct API testing (REST, SOAP) and integration testing between SAP Hybris and third-party systems.
- Utilize test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JMeter, LoadRunner) to streamline testing processes.
- Maintain and improve test frameworks, scripts, and automation coverage.
- Ensure compliance with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) for test execution and defect resolution.
- Support performance and load testing to optimize system efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in SAP Hybris testing.
- Proven expertise as a Tester/QA Engineer in SAP Hybris eCommerce solutions.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Hybris (Commerce Cloud, SAP Commerce).
- Strong knowledge of test case creation, execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
- Understanding of SAP Hybris architecture, including back-end processes and integrations.
- Experience in API testing (REST, SOAP) and integration testing.
- Familiarity with test automation tools (Selenium, JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Experience working with SQL and database management for validating data integrity.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- ISTQB certification or similar software testing certifications.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting.
- Familiarity with performance and load testing tools.
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
