Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking a Spa Therapist / Receptionist for a luxurious safari lodge based in the Eastern Cape. This dual-role position is perfect for a well-rounded individual with a passion for wellness and guest service. The successful candidate will provide professional spa treatments while also assisting with front-of-house reception duties.

Key

Spa Therapist

• Deliver a range of professional spa treatments including massages, facials, manicures, and pedicures

• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and ambiance in the spa area

• Recommend suitable treatments and retail products based on guest needs

• Ensure spa equipment is sanitized, stocked, and maintained according to standards

• Upsell spa services and manage guest treatment schedules efficiently

Receptionist

• Greet and welcome guests in a warm, professional manner

• Manage check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a smooth guest experience

• Handle telephone and email inquiries, bookings, and general guest correspondence

• Assist with guest orientation and lodge information

• Process payments and maintain accurate guest records

• Recognized spa/beauty therapy qualification (ITEC, CIDESCO, or equivalent)

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a spa and/or front-of-house role

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Strong administrative and computer literacy (MS Office, email, reservations systems)

• Professional appearance and demeanor

• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure

• Willingness to live on-site and work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
