About the Role
The Maintenance Farm Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of farm equipment, road maintenance, and building maintenance on our property. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Maintenance Farm Manager where you will be utilizing your skills and experience to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on farm equipment
- Maintain roads and other infrastructure on the property
- Conduct building maintenance tasks
- Communicate effectively with staff, contractors, and external parties
- Manage water reticulation systems
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve goals
- Ensure all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner
Requirements
- Mechanical/maintenance qualification (advantageous)
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Extensive repair and maintenance knowledge of farm equipment, road maintenance, and building maintenance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with water reticulation
- Ability to work hard, be honest, and punctual
- Valid driver’s license
