Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
Develop & Implement Risk Framework – Lead the creation and execution of risk policies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Strategic Risk Advisory – Provide expert insights to senior management, influencing key decision-making processes.
Credit & Market Risk Oversight – Ensure robust risk assessment, mitigation strategies, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Risk Integration – Embed risk management best practices across business operations to support sustainable growth.
Regulatory Compliance – Maintain strong knowledge of local regulations and ensure adherence to international risk management standards.
Qualifications & Experience
7+ years of risk management experience, with a strong emphasis on credit risk.
Expertise in risk analysis, strategic planning, and financial risk assessment.
Degree in Finance, Risk Management, Economics, or a related field (CFA, FRM, or equivalent preferred).
Strong understanding of financial products, credit evaluation, and emerging market risks.
Experience in a senior leadership role within a global or high-growth financial institution.
Familiarity with Namibian financial regulations and experience in emerging markets is a plus.
