About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Import & Export Manager to lead and coordinate all international trade activities at Network International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliant, cost-effective, and timely movement of goods across borders while managing documentation, regulations, and logistics partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all import and export processes end-to-end
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and international trade laws
- Oversee shipping documentation, permits, and clearance requirements
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, clearing agents, and transport providers
- Monitor duties, tariffs, and trade agreements to optimise cost
- Manage Incoterms, letters of credit, and international payment terms
- Resolve customs and shipment delays efficiently
- Maintain accurate records and reporting on international shipments
- Lead and develop the import/export team and processes
Requirements
- Proven experience in import/export or international logistics management
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations and trade compliance
- Experience with freight, clearing, and forwarding processes
- Understanding of Incoterms and international documentation
- Excellent coordination and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management ability
- Relevant qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or International Trade (preferred)
