Role’s Purpose:
Ensure that the whole supply chain and operations function is run smoothly. Having a past high pressure and deadline success experience would be a huge advantage.

Experience & Qualification Criteria:

• Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics/Operations or similar
• 6+ years industry experience (mining/warehousing/distribution/supply chain/logistics)
• Experience in running the full supply chain function for a mining site/logistics company
• Expats are welcome (rotation to be discussed)
• Strong background in strategy and operations combined with building supply chain relationships
• Fluent in English (essential) with excellent communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Building and maintaining client relationships
• Fully operational (hands-on experience)
• Accuracy and a high level of service delivery is required (essential)
• Organisational skills for managing multiple services in mining
• High problem-solving skills to always maintain operational
• Computer literate on MS Office especially Excel
• Coordination and supervision skills, analytical, forecasting and planning required
• Warehouse supervision, risk management, compliance, safety, and local procurement experience
• Container offloading processes – create and maintain efficiency
