Key Responsibilities
- Provide oversight to Senior Managers of Human Resources Operations, Talent Management and Remunerations, Benefits and Shared Services
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies and procedures
- Drive initiatives around talent acquisition, retention and motivational programs, compensation, performance management, talent and leadership development, succession planning and employee engagement
- Optimise the performance of staff and partners in institutional collaboration that supports our mission of academic excellence, research innovation, student success, and systems enhancement
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology or related fields
- 10 years’ experience in HR functions, with excellent exposure to the full scope of HR functions
- Proven HR specialist with leadership experience gained in a complex organisational environment, preferably in Higher Education or similar sector
- Registration with either HPCSA as an Industrial Psychologist or SABPP is an added advantage
