You have built a faultless reputation in senior strategic leadership and implementation of both physical and digital infrastructure, namely infrastructure and property related services, and information and communications technology. This includes the governance of the built environment, grounds and boundaries, conservation areas and heritage sites, linked to the governance of cost-effective and efficient maintenance strategies for living and learning. On the ICT front, you primarily focus on the governance of transformational processes to digitised platforms and tools for Teaching and Learning, Research, Administration and Operations. You monitor the delivery of ICT value propositions on an ongoing basis and propose corrective actions for cost effective, efficient and sustainable alignment with institutional goals and strategies. Bottom-line, you monitor overall fit-for-purpose ICT service provision to the institution. You hold a Masters degree whilst a Doctoral degree may be an added advantage. You have specialised in a related technical field, be it the Built Environment (Civil or Structural Engineering) and/or ICT, together with recognized Project Management experience. Of your 12-plus years of experience, you can reflect 10 years” proven experience in the built and/or digital technologies environments, of which at least 5 years” experience has been at a senior, general or executive management level. You will be part of the Executive Management Committee with institutional responsibilities and reporting directly to the Vice Chancellor and Principal. Your peers view you as a mature leader with a high level of business acumen. You have at least one affiliation with a professional body such as Engineering Council of SA (ECSA) South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP) Project Management Institute SA (PMI) Project Management Professional ICT related professional body. Your toolbox of expertise includes infrastructure maintenance management and project liaison environment & grounds management institution SHE management sanitation management institutional safety, health and environment policy compliance sound knowledge of 4IR technologies and ERP systems the principles of management and project management
