Kendrick Recruitment is on the lookout for a dynamic Lodge Manager to join an exclusive luxury private game lodge located in the stunning Eastern Cape. If you’re a go-getter with a strong track record in lodge management and a flair for guest services, we want to hear from YOU!

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all daily operations accommodations, dining, recreational activities, and guest services

• Lead, train, and manage a dedicated team of lodge staff

• Ensure the highest levels of guest satisfaction and resolve any concerns

• Handle financials from budgeting to revenue generation

• Foster wildlife conservation efforts and promote sustainable practices

• Collaborate with wildlife experts and hunting managers to ensure ethical hunting practices

• Manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, and local communities

• Implement and enforce health & safety standards

• Work with marketing teams to promote the lodge and attract guests

• Report on lodge performance, guest feedback, and conservation initiatives

Who Are We Looking For?

• A Bachelors degree in hospitality management, business admin, or a related field (preferred)

• Proven experience in lodge management, ideally in a hunting game lodge or similar

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team

• A passion for wildlife conservation and sustainable tourism

• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Knowledge of wildlife management and hunting regulations

• Experience with reservation management systems

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and sometimes high-pressure environment

• First Aid and/or wilderness safety certifications (a plus)

• Proficiency in English (additional foreign languages are a bonus)
