About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking a Finance Administrator to join their client’s construction industry company in Plattekloof, Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, specifically within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare and maintain financial records and reports
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts
- Assist with budget preparation and monitoring
- Process payroll and ensure timely payment of wages
- Monitor and manage cash flow
- Assist with financial audits and tax preparations
- Support the finance team with other tasks as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a finance role, preferably within the construction industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance standards
