About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sushi Chef to join our upmarket Restaurant in Bedfordview. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality sushi and contributing to the success of our restaurant. With 5 or more years of experience as a sushi chef in a high-end environment, such as a hotel or restaurant, we are looking for someone with strong knife skills and a passion for creating exquisite dishes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare all types of sushi
- Maintain high standards of presentation and quality
- Work efficiently to meet sales targets and customer demand
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines
Requirements
- 5 or more years of experience as a sushi chef
- Strong knife skills and ability to prepare all types of sushi
- General cooking experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Qualifications
- Completed formal education or certification in culinary arts (if applicable)
Salary & Benefits
Salary: R10,130 net per month.
