About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Import/Export Clerk to join our team in Benoni, Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and processing import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and prepare import/export documentation, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and customs forms
- Coordinate with logistics providers, customs brokers, and suppliers to ensure smooth shipment processing
- Verify accuracy of shipment documentation and ensure compliance with regulations
- Track shipments and resolve issues promptly
- Maintain accurate records and databases
- Assist with inventory management and stock control
- Provide excellent customer service
Requirements
- Matric or equivalent
- 1-2 years’ experience in import/export or logistics
- Knowledge of import/export regulations
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong organizational and communication skills
