Job Summary

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Client Banking Analyst to join a leading financial institution within the commercial and development banking sector in Bethlehem, Free State. This role will suit a professional with strong credit analysis and deal structuring expertise, coupled with the ability to support relationship managers in driving client growth and portfolio health.

The Key Responsibilities:

Package and prepare credit submissions for approval.
Conduct detailed financial modelling, risk assessment, and deal structuring.
Support relationship managers in client onboarding, portfolio monitoring, and arrears management.
Provide first-level quality assurance on transactions, policies, and compliance processes.
Build and maintain strong stakeholder and client relationships.

Minimum Requirements & Experience

Relevant three-year qualification (e.g., Credit, Risk Management, Business or Commercial Sciences, Investment Management).
35 years experience in credit analysis or lending within commercial/corporate banking.
Strong relationship management skills in a client-facing environment (agriculture exposure advantageous).
Excellent analytical, planning, and communication skills.
Valid drivers license and willingness to travel.
