Job Summary
Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts and Administrative Officer to join their team. This role requires a person with strong organizational skills and a solid background in accounting and administration.

Minimum requirements:
Matric
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Valid drivers license and own vehicle
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, MedeMass, MediSwitch
- Previous working experience with medical aids, billing
- A background in medical practice will be advantageous
Skills required:
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Knowledge of medical billing and accounts management
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Duties and responsibilities:
- Handle accounts receivable and collections, ensuring timely follow-ups on outstanding payments and debt collections
- Communicate with medical funds to verify claims and ensure accurate billing and payments
- Process invoices, payments, and financial records in an accurate and timely manner
- Manage daily administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining records
- Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating visits as needed
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies
- Maintain and update financial databases and reports
- Assist with general office administration and support the team as required
Remuneration:
R 15 000 – R 16 500
Work hours:
Monday – Friday: 08:00 – 17:00 / certain days 17:30
